Total Chaos
Total Chaos
American street punk band from Los Angeles.
Clusterfux
Clusterfux
The fury of old-school, Punk Rock welded to the punishing drive of Metal describes the sonic assault of Denver's longest running thrash/punk band CLUSTERFUX. Forged by a love for the classics in both the Metal and Punk genres CLUSTERFUX have been delivering their brand of Crossover to those willing (and even those unwilling!) to listen since October of 1995. Hundreds of chaos crazed, live bouts later CLUSTERFUX is still at it. Many compilations and self released offerings later Boston's Rodent Popsicle Records released their latest CD appropriately titled "Thrash Mongrel" in the Winter of '02. In a musically challenged climate where Pop Punk rules and cloned "Punks" are afraid to break from the mold, CLUSTERFUX hammers listeners again and again with fist-in-the-air Punk Rock aggression and heavy as metal sensibility. The unrelentless thrashing mayhem has left many a critic confused. Called everything from "cheesy metal" to "crust", "hard-core" and "speed metal" one thing is for sure!…CLUSTERFUX will kick your ass! "Thrash or Be Thrashed!" WARNING!!!! -Your parents will not like this, they will not think it's cute, it will scare them, and you cannot get the CD at Hot Topic!!!!
Clusterfux's have shared the stage with: Jag Panzer, Silencer, DRI, Citizen Fish, Toxic Narcotic, UK Subs, Vice Squad, Word Salad, Logical Nonsense, Conflict, Good Riddance, Anti-Flag, Against All Authority, the Forgotten and many, many others!Influences include: DRI, Slayer, SOD, Anthrax, Overkill, Exodus, Black Sabbath, English Dogs, the Exploited, GBH, Broken Bones, and tons more!!_
Almataha
Almataha
Almataha was originally conceived in 2016 as a project between punk veteran Johnny Quesada and his 15-year-old daughter Bella Quesada, as a vehicle to teach the nuances of how to form and maintain a band in the aspects of song writing, business and professionalism all within their mutual love for punk music. The band began recording in March 2017 with the addition of Trond Goderstad on vocals, and was finally rounded out by drummer Max Arbess in late August 2017. Almataha combines the influences of hardcore, thrash, street punk, crust and UK82 to form a sound described by one fan as reminding them of “the old shit”. The band played its first show on September 24th 2017 at the Seventh Circle Music Collective’s 5-Year Anniversary.
The name Almataha (Arabic for The Maze), was chosen around the concept of “The Maze” as being everything which surrounds and hinders us as human beings. Jobs, religion, government, peer pressure, indeed life itself, it is all Almataha. We all navigate the maze, we all live the maze; indeed, we are all, Almataha. The bands lyrics focus on all of these concepts and constructs, and try to bring attention to the new oppression and the frightening rise of neo-fascism taking place in America under the presidency of Donald Trump. Almataha will always stand for basic human rights, the defense of the marginalized, and the right of all humankind to live peacefully and without fear of oppression. Almataha is a hardcore punk band from Denver, Colorado.
Almataha’s music can be found everywhere where music is distributed online, and merch can be found at www.almataha.bandcamp.com and FB at www.facebook.com/almataha.band
